My Take On The Palette:
The palette comes in a sturdy black plastic case with the brand and product name engraved on it in golden color. It comes with a full sized mirror on the inner side. The packaging gives a luxurious feel to the palette. This palette comes in 4 shades- light, light/medium, medium/dark, dark. Today I’m reviewing the medium/dark palette in this post which I found perfect for fair-medium skin toned women like me.
The palette contains 3 Concealers, Pressed Powder, Contouring matte Bronzer, Blusher and Highlighter.
There are 3 shades of concealers- light, medium and dark which have a creamy texture. I use the lightest shade from the palette as a concealer and I’m highly impressed by how smoothly it blends into the skin and the way it covers up blemishes and dark circles. If you try to build up these concealers for more coverage, they’ll give you a cakey look. The darker shades can be used for contouring since these concealers are super blendable. Even though they are creamy concealers, I would suggest using a moisturizer and primer underneath otherwise they’ll accentuate fine lines.
The pressed powder from this palette has a smooth and silky texture as per the product description says. It is finely milled and gives you a matte finish when applied. It sets your makeup perfectly and doesn’t give a cakey effect to the skin. The staying power is good and it does keep your face shine-free for 4-5 hours.
This matte bronzer is my current favourite for contouring. The shade is a matte brown which is perfect for most Indian skintones. It blends easily into the skin due to its smooth texture and the staying power is impressive. It stayed on for 6-7 hours on me.
The blusher is a beautiful dusty pink shade and it is highly pigmented. You just need to swirl your brush over the Blush slightly and that much quantity is enough to cover up both your cheeks. It is ideal for daily use since the shade is comfortable enough to wear anywhere. It is versatile enough that you can pair it up with almost any kind of makeup.
The highlighter comes in a decent pearlescent shade. I like the fact that it doesn’t have yellow undertones which are good for festive kind of looks but they are not comfortable to wear on a daily basis. This highlighter imparts a healthy glow to the skin when applied in a little quantity and on the right features on your face. It perfectly highlights the high points on your face and adds a luminous radiance to your skin.
This palette has all the needs for your base makeup summed up into a single palette. It can be a great option when you are traveling and even for daily wear since you don’t need to carry multiple products. The quality of all the products in this palette exceeded my expectations. All the products have amazing texture, are well pigmented and staying power is surprisingly good. The price point at which they are offering such an amazing product is worth the splurge. You can save a lot bucks by investing in this single palette rather than buying multiple products. I couldn’t find any cons in this palette. I highly recommend this product to everyone.
